Raoul Dederen is Professor of Theology Emeritus and former Dean of the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan. A graduate of the Athénée Royal in Belgium, he earned his Master of Arts and Doctor ès Sciences Morales degrees from the University of Geneva in Switzerland.
Before coming to the United States in 1964, Dr.
Dederen served seven years in the pastoral ministry in Belgium and ten years on the theological faculty of the French Adventist Seminary in France. The author of numerous articles, he has also served some twenty years as a member of the Faith and Order Commission of the World Council of Churches.
