Biography
George Saitoti was born in the Aga Khan Hospital, Ngong Road, Nairobi.His parents were Zacharia Kiarie and Zipporah Gathoni who lived in Oloolua, Ngong, Kajiado a little to the west of Nairobi. One immediately asks why Saitoti's father has the surname 'Kiarie' and not 'Saitoti'.
